Bathroom Blogfest 2011: Aloha

This is a story about my airport bathroom experience in Hawaii last year. After many countless hours of flying, we were finally in Hawaii. I was exhausted and needed to take a quick trip to the bathroom, and then I saw this sign.

Hawaii bathroom

It was its own little way of saying “Aloha and welcome to Hawaii”. It made me smile.

Bathroom Blogfest 2011

Bathroom Blogfest 2011Bathrooms, restrooms, toilets…
Whatever you call them, we all use them in one form or another.

This week is Bathroom Blogfest.

“During the annual Bathroom Blogfest, bloggers from around the globe write about the importance of bathrooms in the customer experience. Their posts come from a wide range of perspectives that include sociology, marketing, research, psychology, environmental, customer experience, and user-experience design.”

Throughout the week, we will be sharing stories about the usability and user experience of bathrooms wherever they are — libraries, restaurants, museums, etc.
