Wandering Librarian: Harry Bennett Branch

harry bennet libraryAs a new mom, I finally attended my first story time.  The Harry Bennett branch of the Ferguson Library System in Stamford, CT had the honor of being my first. I arrived early to scope out the library.

For a Friday it was pretty busy. The building is 1 story with most of the stacks being on a lower level with the children’s area. The children’s area was easily accessible with a cumbersome stroller via a ramp. The highlight of the children’s area was a tablet petting zoo & circular amphitheater type play area.

All in all, your average quaint small library branch that fits the community’s basic needs; books, movies, internet access, computer access, story time,  and bathrooms.
