Predict Next Year’s Headlines

headlinesWhen/why: Predicting next year’s headlines is an exercise in defining and clarifying issues to pursue immediately & for the future.

How: Invite staff & customers to project the company/business/nonprofit into the future. Ask them to identify how they want to develop & sustain customer relationships.

Tips: This can be done formally or informally and even combined with other methods. For example, predicting next year’s headlines can be included in a survey. Or even a suggestion box can be created allowing for anonymous headlines to be placed inside.
