day in the life storyboardA DAY IN THE LIFE

When/why: A day in the life is a useful way to reveal issues and aha moments in the daily routines and circumstances of a user’s life. A day in the life is also a way of building empathy with your users.

How: Record the activities and context that the user experiences throughout the course of an entire day.

Tips: There are tons of methods for recording activities. Some examples include; video/camera journal (check the the MeCam), journaling, shadowing, audio recorder for user to narrate their activities, etc.

Interested in using/applying these methods in your work? Contact us for more info.
