Monthly Method Spotlight: Character Profiles

characterprofileCHARACTER PROFILES

What: Character/Customer Profiles/Personas

When/why: Character profiles are a fun and effective way to communicate the needs of various target groups. This is also a great exercise for improving customer service by building empathy towards customers.

How: Based on observations of real customers, develop profiles that detail a customer’s behavior, values, lifestyle, background, etc.  to represent each customer archetype.

Tips: Make it fun by asking the team members to make 2-3 character profiles that are specific and detailed.
